Central Village Cinemas

CENTRAL VILLAGE CINEMAS IS A CORNERSTONE BUILDING LOCATED AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE “CENTRAL” PRECINCT.

The project consists of a first floor tenancy featuring 5 auditoria, amenities, plant rooms, mezzanine and digital projection areas for a 780 seat cinema for national cinema operators Birch Carroll and Coyle.

On the ground floor there are 9 retail and food tenancies, with an arcade, amenities and offices to high profile tenants including Hog’s Breathe Café, Guzman Y Gomez & Max Brenner Chocolate Shop. The project showcases sidewalk cafes, open air dining, boutique retailers and a pedestrian plaza.

RCQ’s scope of works also included ground floor car parking and infrastructure services to the site.

RCQ was contracted for the project on a Design and Construct basis after a competitive tender and took on all design management and coordination functions for the Base Build and tenancy fit outs.

Project design, delivery and handover was completed within 40 weeks.
