Woolworths Maroochydore

The Woolworths renovation commenced during the final stages of the Big Top Shopping Centre and remained operational throughout the 16 week program. The project is the largest renovation Woolworths have undertaken and involved the complete restructure of refrigeration, new essential services, new store entry, and staff amenities.

In addition, 4 weeks were removed from the build program during tender stage to ensure works were completed by the end of the financial year. Further challenges were presented given the existing condition of fire separation between sprinkler protected and non sprinkler protected areas between Woolworths and the Big Top Shopping Centre.

RCQ Construction worked tirelessly around the clock to achieve the deadline with a rotational roster day and night.
