Veer Apartments

The Development was the first in Townsville’s premier strip The Strand to take advantage of Council’s new planning scheme now allowing 5 storeys and so is an immediate stand out to existing buildings.

The units are bespoke with each being tailored to suit the purchasers specific selections with custom finishes to joinery, tiling, fixtures, lighting and colour schemes.

Veer Apartments is constructed of cement rendered masonry block, with a Colourbond Steel roof, plasterboard lined block or metal framed internal walls and aluminium louvres, windows and privacy screens.

The existing building on the site required asbestos removal prior to its demolition. The ground level features two shop front restaurant tenancies totalling approximately 299m2 and undercover car parking with a total of 18 car spaces for residents. Each apartment has two designated car spaces and one storage enclosure.

Suspended floors are used for Levels 1 to 4 with each level housing 2 x 3 bedroom apartments. Each apartment is over 220m2 with 2.5 bathrooms, a study/fourth bedroom, entertainment area and a large 7m x 4m balcony with glass balustrading and optional privacy screen. Split airconditioners are in all bedrooms and living/dining room with fans throughout.

The kitchen boasts designer stone bench tops, stainless steel and timber veneer finishes with a walk-in pantry. The laundry is also walk-in with stone bench tops and internal hanging rails and dining area features stainless steel open bar. All apartments are designed with the bedrooms at the rear with the living space facing due north to capture views and breezes.

Security and audio/visual intercom communication systems are installed throughout. Each apartment has an audio/visual intercom to the lobby, remote controlled access to car park, security access to lift, as well as TV connections to the main bedroom and living area which are both NBN compatible. There is also security lighting to the car park and entrances.

At the rear of the building on level 1 there is a recreational area with undercover BBQ and pool surrounded by landscaped gardens for privacy.
